GEOMETRY

Ø The branch of mathematics that deals with points, lines, shapes and space.

Ø Plane Geometry is about flat shapes like lines, circles and triangles.

Ø Solid Geometry is about solid (3-dimensional) shapes like spheres and cubes.

Types of angle:

Acute angle - an angle between 0 and 90 degrees

Right angle - an 90 degree angle

Obtuse angle - an angle between 90 and 180 degrees

Straight angle - a 180 degree angle

Reflex angle - Angles measuring greater than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees.

Ø The measure of a reflex angle is added to an acute or obtuse angle to make a full 360 degree circle
